About Kickboxing
Kickboxing is a modern contact fighting sport created on the basis of many traditional combat sports and martial arts. Kickboxing is a unique Western response to many Eastern martial arts.
It can be practiced on competitive or recreational level depending on the aspirations of the kickboxer. One thing for sure is that it is a sport designed to improve your overall health, strength and endurance.

Kickboxing Rule Sets
Kickboxing has 7 competitive disciplines namely; 3 Ring Sports (in the ring) and 4 Mat Sports (on the tatami mat).
Rules
WAKO is the recognised governing body in the International Olympic Committee (IOC) for the sport of Kickboxing.
Accordingly, the applied rules in Kickboxing sport are determined and finalised by WAKO.
The rules of Kickboxing defined by WAKO are implemented accordingly by Kickboxing Federation of Singapore.
